Thank you for camping with us! We hope you have a pleasant stay. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask the personnel for information or help.
- This is a family campground, no one under 21 is allowed to camp without a parent or legal guardian. Each family must have a parent present on the site or in a cabin.
- Registration is required for everyone upon entry to the campground.
- Specific campsites are not guaranteed. We will do our best to keep all family groups together.
- Pay phones are located at the Ranger Station. A modem is located by the café in the Ranger Station.
- One camping unit on a site. There is NO DOUBLING of camping units allowed on a site. Each sleeping unit must have its own site. Tent sites need permission and must pay an additional fee if more than one tent is to be on the site. If a camping unit wants to put a tent on their site an additional fee must be paid. Campsites should be maintained in a sanitary manner.
- Cabins are not allowed to put up tents or tarps. Pets are not allowed in the cabin or on the cabin grounds. All smoking needs to be done outside and picnic tables should be kept on the front porches.
- Garbage should be placed in the blue plastic totes. Every other site has a tote and each cabin has a tote. Pick up is done by a service on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. On Holidays the trash is picked up on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
- Vehicle Passes must be displayed at all times. If more than one vehicle will be on your site an additional fee is due and a pass will be issued. Vehicles should only be parked on your site. No parking on roadways or grass. PARKING IS LIMITED. Please walk to facilities in park whenever possible.
- Boats and trailers must be registered with the office and parked in a designated area.
- Drive Safely. The speed limit within the park is 8 MPH. Do not allow unlicensed or underage persons to drive. No “joy riding” is permitted in the park, for any motorized vehicle. Campers and their guest are urged to drive slowly and exercise extreme caution when operating any type of motor vehicle on park roads. Children are playing throughout the park and simply don’t watch for traffic.
- Children are very special to us. Parents are responsible for the actions and safety of their children and may not leave them unattended. Please know where your children are at all times. Parents or guardians are responsible for up to $750.00 for physical damages or vandalism under Indiana State Law. All children and teenagers must be at their campsites by 11 PM. An adult should accompany small children at all times.
- Day Guests/Visitors must register at the office immediately upon arrival, obtain a vehicle pass and pay appropriate fee. No admittance prior to 8 AM and all visitors must leave the campground by 11 PM. Visitors who stay less than 15 mins. will be refunded their fee, but still must register and obtain a vehicle pass. Campers are responsible for their visitors. Any violations of the rules could result in the loss of campers site with no refund.
- Disabled Guests please ask any Jellystone employee if you need assistance.
- Quiet Hours are from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM. At these times, anyone under 21, not accompanied by a parent or legal guardian must be at their own campsite. All campers must observe quiet hours by regulating their activities so that others, campers in the site next to you, will not be disturbed. Please remember that noise will carry more after quiet time than before, that there is more noise generated by a larger group than a smaller group, by several people talking at once than one at a time and that some people who consume alcohol will tend to talk louder and be less aware or in control of their behavior. The measurement for excessive noise will be that if a person (security officer or other designated park enforcement person) standing in the middle of the street next to your site can hear you (simulating a person in a site next to you) then you are too loud and in violation. Bug zappers, generators, radios and TV’s must be turned off during quiet hours. Early risers should walk and talk softly until other campers are awake. No loud or offensive noises, no profanity or abusive language. If a complaint is received from another camper you will be considered in violation.
- Campfires are allowed only in a fire ring. Do not move existing fire rings. Fires must be supervised by an adult, and attended at all times. Fires must be totally extinguished when not personally attended. Before leaving your campsite or retiring for the night, PUT YOUR FIRE OUT COMPLETELY. Fires must be extinguished before 12 midnight. Firewood can be purchased in the front office. No cutting or chopping of any standing tree, dead or alive. No defacing or damaging trees with knives, nails, axes or saws. There is a $50.00 fine per plant for damages.
- Swimming Pools are free. All campers and visitors are required to wear a wristband when entering the pool area. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult (18 years old or older) while at the pool. Swimmer Diapers are required for all children who are not potty trained, the store sells these diapers individually. No smoking, food or drinks (water included) are allowed in the pool area. Swimming pool rules are posted at the pool. Failure to comply with these rules will result in the loss of pool privileges. Pool hours are 10 AM to 9PM.
- Pets must be kept under owner control at all times; no pet is to be left tied up and unattended on the owner’s camping site. All dogs must be kept on a leash no more than eight (8) feet long. Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up all pet droppings anywhere in the park, including your site. We encourage you to use the designated area for walking your pet. Children should not walk pets. Pets are not permitted in any building, swimming pool area, playground or recreational area, with the exception of seeing-eye-dogs. Pets are not allowed in any of the cabins including the cabin grounds. Barking and vicious dogs are not allowed. We have the right to require removal of animals, which are unruly, loud or misbehaved. If you, the camper, has to leave due to the pet’s disturbance there will be no refund.
- Alcohol may only be consumed in moderation by adults of legal age. Loud or disorderly behavior will not be tolerated and you may be asked to leave with no refund. No alcohol beverages are allowed anywhere in the park except on your own lot site.
